Par Sands Beach
Nestled inbetween St Austell and Fowey, you will find the extensive Sands of Par Sands Beach.
At low tide the beach is huge and the sands are wide and at high tide a good amount still remains so you do not need to worry, there is always room for everyone.
The beach is backed by dunes which are great for exploring and it is in a very sheltered location. the waters are generally safe for bathing due to being quite shallow but care must always be taken as this is not a lifeguarded beach (Jellyfish may be present at this beach and can pack a nasty sting so keep an eye out).
This is a great beach for families who want to have a nice and chilled day out away from the crowds and the surfing scene.
