His post quickly received over 100 shares on social media and grabbed the attention of the press. Steve Bell’s kind gesture to give back to the Cornish community by giving free haircuts to the homeless has warmed the hearts of many.

Kind and humble Steve states that a fresh haircut may not be much but it “could mean a lot to someone who it without a home”. He continues to say that he has received wonderful reactions so far and is eager to learn more and chat with those less fortunate.
James Sherringham, who is only 36 years old and has been homeless since 2010, was one of the first to accept Steve’s generous offer of a free haircut.

James looks a lot happier and sharper with his new look, remarking that he was “looking a treat”. This truly shows how a small gesture can truly help someone in need and potentially give them the opportunity to turn their lives around.
Fatty’s normal opening hours are 9:00 am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 2pm on Saturdays for those looking to help out a homeless friend or to treat themselves to a haircut.
With 5* reviews on Facebook, a competitive price and a big heart – is there anywhere else to go to freshen up your look?
