Widemouth Bay

Widemouth Bay Beach is a very long and wide stretch of sand which is popular with families and surfers.

At low tide there are many rock pools towards the middle of the beach, giving lots of places to explore the local sea life.

There is a surf school based on this beach for the more adventurous people in your group and the waters are generally safe for beginners.

In the summer this beach can become very busy but there is plenty of room for everyone, although half of the sand tends to disappear at high tide.

Situated only 3 miles from the pituresque town of Bude which has been awarded 7th place in the trip advisors ‘Best Beach destination in the UK’!

There are plenty of things to see and do in Bude such as, Horse Riding, Cycling, Golf, Rock Climbing, Kayacking, Fishing and much much more

Safety: Lifeguards are in operation on this beach during the summer months.

Dogs: Dogs are allowed on the south part of the beach all year but banned from the North beach from easter to October.

Parking:There are a couple of Car Parks right next to the beach and then two more at each end of the beach.

Access: There is Disabled access to this beach.
