If it’s great quality grub you’re after that’s easy on your pocket, and you happen to be in or near Wadebridge, then get yourself down to The Shed Cafe & Brunch Bar. Located in Trevanson Street, The shed is renowned for serving freshly cooked breakfasts with a warm, friendly smile.

Set in an old vineyard and only a few minutes drive away from the beaches of Porthoustock, Porthkerris and Porthallow, Fat Apples serves burgers, cakes, crab sandwiches, salads and much more, all served fresh and home made.

Daisy’s Cafe in Looe offers affordable and fantastic food served with a smile in a wonderful atmosphere. Muddy boots, dogs and little people are all welcome at Daisy’s, whether it’s scones and cream you want or a quick coffee.

You’d be hard pushed to find anywhere else in Looe that could beat Daisy’s, which is loved by locals and tourists alike. Some even call it the ‘jewel in the crown’.

During busy summer months the cafe can get a bit crowded as it’s rather small, but don’t let that put you off. Food is served very fast here, so the wait will be minimal.

Make sure you order some scones as they are the tastiest around these parts, and if it’s your bag, go for a bacon and black pudding sandwich, they’re very moreish!

If you happen to be in St Ives, then Pels cafe is a must. Serving everything from beef and chicken burgers to lemon cake, food here is tasty and served with a smile.

Dogs and children are welcome, along with vegetarians and customers with allergies. The cafe is clean and decorated tastefully with seating inside and out. Pels is situated right on the seafront so the views are stunning in both summer and winter.

Very popular during holiday season, so don’t be surprised if there isn’t a table available, but the service is fast and friendly.

If you do pop in for a bite to eat, we highly recommend trying the savoury crab and cheese crepes or for the sweet toothed, chocolate and strawberry as they are delicious!
