Sennen Cove Beach

Loved by surfers, Sun seekers and families alike, Sennen Cove Beach is a great stretch of sand with plenty of options for fun.

It is a large sandy beach which is great for all all sunny day activities such as Sunbathing, Frisbee, Sand Castle building and hopping about the rock pools exploring. It is especially good for surfing with most tides and is protected from the wind making it more inviting.

There are surf shops, souvenier shops, ice cream stands and restaurants directly on the road above the beach, all open during the summer months.

There is a nice coastal walk from Sennen Cove to Lands End and it only takes about 30 minutes and in which you will see some breath taking beauty and of course the end of the land!

In the summertime you can catch a bus to Sennen Cove from Penzance.

Sennen used to have the UKs first and only Doggy Lifeguard, named ‘Bilbo’ but he had to enter retirement due to dogs not being aloud on the beach during summer months. But do not fear it is now manned by the RNLI and is throughout the whole of the summer.
