Sandymouth Beach

Sandymouth beach is as you would expect, a great mouth of sand, backed by beautifully dramatic cliffs this beach is a popular place with both surfers and families.

At high tide it is more pebbles than sand but it is wonderfull for exploring given the number of rock pools and random rock formations.

At low tide you are able to walk along the sands to a few of Bude’s other beaches and at high tide you can always take the coastal path.

The views from the cliff top are fantastic and very much a favourite for keen photographers.

The waters are both clean and inviting and great for cooling off after basking in the suns rays.

Sandymouth Beach is not too far from the beautiful town of Bude which is a family favourite holiday destination. With lots activities in and around the town, restaurants, bars and other facilities, it is certainly worth a visit after a lovely day out at the beach.
