Portscatho Beach

Portscatho Beach is a very rocky and in some parts sandy beach located in the beautiful fishing village of the same name.

Situated on the Gorgeous Roseland Peninsula which the South west coast path lies and leads to and from this beach, with spectacular views.

Portscatho is a working fishing village and very pituresque, this typically cornish retreat is perfect for a quiet day out. Next to portscatho beach is a larger and sandier beach at Porthcurnick, more suitable if you wanted to head this way with the family.

Portscatho is roughly 13 miles from the city of Truro.

Facilities: There are pubs and shops in portscatho village

Safety: Lifeguards are not in operation on this beach.

Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on the beach between easter and October

Parking:There is one car park about a ten minute walk from the beach

Access: There is no disabled access to this beach.
