Portloe Beach

Portloe Beach can be found in the pituresque fishing village of Portloe.

It is not really very much of a beach and at high tide it is pretty much gone, but it is a quaint and pretty little place that is worth a visit.

The waters are very sheltered and fine for bathing but can obvioulsy become a little busy with boats.

Portloe is a stunning village and is surrounded by country and coastal walks that boast some of Cornwall’s prettiest views.

Portloe is roughly 10 miles from the small city of Truro which is home to some fabulous shops, cafes and restaurants.

Toilets: Yes in the village

Facilities: There is a shop as well as a restaurant in the village.

Safety: Lifeguards are not in operation on this beach.

Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on beach/slipway all year

Parking:There is one small car park about a five minute walk from the beach, parking elsewhere is impossible!

Access: There is slip way access to the beach. Although at high tide the slip way is the beach!
