Porthcurno Beach
With perfect golden sands and the clearest bluey Green waters Porthcurno Beach is a very special beach indeed which could be easily mistaken for a part of the Caribbean. It is very popular with families during the summer but there is plenty of room for everyone on this little Cornish Jewel of a sand strip.
Great for swimming, frisbee, football, snorkelling or just simply relaxing in the beautiful surround. There is a small river/stream that enters the beach from the top which parents may find more suitable for smaller children to play in rather than the sloping shelves of sand in the sea.
There are a few fantastic attractions very close by the beach such as: The famous and inspiring Minack Theatre and the Porth Curno Telegraph Museum which is on the beach itself. There are also a number of stunning coastal walks along the cliff tops and the views are second to none
