Perranporth Beach

The huge and North facing sands of Perranporth, spanning over two miles are low tide prove very popular during the summer months to visitors and locals alike.

Lined by dramatic cliffs at one end and Sand dunes at the other, gorgeous flat sands, a naturally filled Sea pool and a Public house are just some of the delights this Beach has to offer.

It is a very busy Beach on a sunny day and the car parks can become quite crowded along with the entrance on the south end of the Beach, but there is plenty of room for everyone and if you don’t mind a little walk you are sure to find your own little perfect spot to soak up the sun.

At high tide most of the beach becomes covered by the sea, so you may want to check the tide times before setting off for the day.

This is a great beach for getting in the water with or without a board as it is watched by RNLI Lifeguards who constantly patrol the waterline. So whether it’s swimming, body boarding, surfing or just a bit of paddling this beach has very inviting waters that you are sure to enjoy dipping into.

The beach is overlooked by a golf course and the town of Perranporth has many shops, cafe’s, restaurants and a lovely little garden featuring a small lake with ducks.
