Looe Beach

Set in a lovely and working fishing town of the same name Looe Beach (well East Looe beach as the town is divided into East and West) is a wonderful sandy beach which is medium in size. It can get very busy during the summer though as it one of the most popular beaches in Cornwall due to it’s location.

It is a very beautiful place indeed with the River Looe running up the side to the small harbour which is very pituresque.

The waters are fairly sheltered due the Banjo Pier and are very clean and pristinely blue also the waters are quite shallow for some way out.

Looe itself boasts an array of mouthwatering menus and thirst quenching public houses along with a number of food outlets, shops selling memorable bits and bobs and a few local attractions, one of which being the local fish market.

There is plenty to see and do in Looe and boat trips are available from the harbour.
