*Cornwall is going to reach 30°C next week and the following week* Hotter than parts of the med

The Met Office has just announced then towards the end of next week somewhere in Cornwall could reach 30°C which would be warmer than some parts of the Mediterranean!

A weather map by WXCharts shows the rise in temperatures in the UK will begin in the southwest of the UK. For the majority of the country, the weekend is expected to remain dry with temperatures hovering around the low 20’s. Going into the next week hot air from Europe is set to blow into the UK bringing with it a massive surge in temperature.

Met Office meteorologist Alex Deakin also explained the UK should be braced for “scorching” weather by Thursday.

He said: “Certainly early next week with low pressure sitting nearby the weather front edging in there will be some rain around on this.

“But also the low pressure down to the southwest the winds swirling around an area of low pressure there is a likelihood of some warmer weather.

“Potentially some very hot weather wafting up across Spain into France up towards Germany.

The higher temperatures are likely to be towards the South and West.

This is a great time to visit UK beaches, no need to get on a plane for the warmth and take advantage of low out of season prices!
